Tint Removal: $120

Please note: if you are replacing existing tint, a $120 removal charge is added to your new tint price. We fully strip the old film, and if there is residual adhesive left over from a previous tint job, we make sure it is removed flawlessly so the glass is perfectly prepped. A proper new tint application depends on the old film and adhesive being removed correctly first.

FAQ

Window tint questions, answered

How do I know which window tint is right for my vehicle?
The best window tint depends on what matters most to you. Some drivers prioritize appearance and privacy, while others are focused on reducing interior heat or making long commutes more comfortable. Branded Detailing offers both carbon films and Fireball Nano+ ceramic film, making it easy to choose a solution that fits your goals rather than simply selecting the darkest tint available.
What's the difference between carbon window tint and ceramic window tint?
Both options improve comfort and appearance, but they perform differently. Carbon film is a popular upgrade over basic dyed films, while ceramic film is engineered for higher heat rejection and overall performance without relying on increased darkness. Choosing between them usually comes down to your priorities and budget rather than one being universally better for every driver.
Does darker window tint block more heat?
Not necessarily. Many people assume darker means cooler, but the technology built into the film often has a much greater impact than its shade. Modern ceramic films can reject significant heat even in lighter tint percentages, allowing drivers to improve comfort while remaining within legal limits.
What are Missouri's window tint laws?
Missouri regulates how dark certain vehicle windows may be tinted, and the rules vary depending on the window and the type of vehicle. Because state regulations can change, Branded Detailing recommends selecting a film that complies with current Missouri law.
Will window tint make driving at night more difficult?
Properly selected window tint should improve daytime comfort without unnecessarily reducing nighttime visibility. Choosing an appropriate shade is important, especially for drivers who spend a lot of time on rural roads or in low-light conditions. Branded Detailing can help you balance visibility, privacy, and heat rejection based on how you use your vehicle.
Can window tint help protect my vehicle's interior?
Yes. Quality window film helps reduce the amount of ultraviolet light entering the cabin, which can contribute to fading and wear on upholstery, dashboards, trim, and other interior materials over time. While no tint completely eliminates sun exposure, it can be an important part of preserving your vehicle's interior.
Where can I get professional window tint near Smithville?
Branded Detailing installs window tint at its downtown Smithville location, providing a convenient option for drivers throughout the Northland. Instead of traveling across Kansas City, customers from Liberty, Kearney, and surrounding Northland communities can have their tint professionally installed much closer to home.
Can window tint be installed on any vehicle?
Window tint can be installed on most passenger cars, trucks, SUVs, and many other vehicles. The exact installation process depends on the vehicle's glass shape and design, but professional installation helps ensure a clean appearance and long-lasting performance regardless of what you drive.
