The Town Nearly Doubled. The Dust Kept Up.

Kearney has grown from small town to boomtown since 2000: new streets in Noah’s Landing and The Meadows at Greenfield, three-row SUVs running the school circuit, trucks grinding I-35 every morning. We’re the detailing crew 13 miles straight down 92: mobile to your driveway, or drop off at our Smithville shop.

Mobile & in-shop

One road from our shop to your driveway

From our shop at 115 S Bridge St in downtown Smithville, Highway 92 runs straight east into Kearney and meets I-35 at Exit 26. Thirteen miles, one road, under twenty minutes. That makes mobile detailing in Kearney a regular route for fleet and maintenance-plan customers. For everything else, drop-off is an easy run down 92.

And let’s be straight: Kearney has detailing options of its own. Our case is the combination. A mobile crew that comes to you, backed by a full shop that goes as deep as your vehicle needs. Complete interior-and-exterior details, machine paint correction, multi-year ceramic coatings, paint protection film, window tint, and marine work. If it’s more than a wash-and-vac, it’s what we do all day, every day.

Every service, available in Kearney

What we can do for your vehicle

Every service below runs mobile at your Kearney home or office, or in the shop on Bridge Street in Smithville. Same crew, same standard either way.

New streets, no shade

Your neighborhood is still a job site

Noah’s Landing, The Meadows at Greenfield, Cottonwood Creek, the Homes at Prairie Field. Live on one of those streets and you know a new subdivision stays a job site for years. Framing, dirt work, drywall sanding: that fine gray powder rides the wind and works into vents, door jambs, and carpet backing. A gas-station vacuum only stirs it around. Our interior detailing pulls it out, vent by vent.

What those streets don’t have is shade. The trees are young, so your paint and dash take full Missouri sun all day. Ceramic coating is the UV protection a treeless driveway needs. Out toward Jesse James Farm Road, where the pavement turns to gravel, paint protection film handles the rock chips.

Flawless machine-finished gloss on a coated hood, paint correction done right

Miles, ball fields & the lake

Everything a Kearney week leaves on your vehicle

Four elementary schools, an interstate interchange, three lighted ball fields, and a lake a short run west. This town keeps its vehicles working. Six of the jobs we get called for most here, and what each one actually takes.

Fifty highway miles a day

Kearney is a commuter town. Exit 26 puts you on I-35, with Liberty about ten miles south and downtown Kansas City around 25 minutes out. Plenty of people here make that drive twice a day.

What the commute leaves

Bug splatter baked in by summer, tar flecks, brake dust, and the salt-and-brine film that coats every winter drive. It builds slowly enough that you stop seeing it, until the hood reads gray in the sunlight instead of the color you bought.

Undoing it, in order

A full decontamination wash strips the bonded grime an automatic wash leaves behind. Machine paint correction takes out the swirls, water spotting, and dull clear coat underneath. Then a coating makes it harder for next winter’s road salt to stick.

Ball season at Mack Porter

Ball season means three nights a week at Mack Porter Park. Infield dirt ground into the carpet, turf pellets in the seat rails, snack wrappers in the third row, and dog hair through all of it. We bring those interiors back every week.

Jesse James Festival weekend

The downtown parade, the demolition derby, the BBQ cook-out: festival weekend is when Kearney puts its trucks on display. Get on the calendar the week before and yours is clean and shining when the parade lines up.

Boats live down 92 too

Plenty of Kearney families keep a boat at Smithville Lake, a short run west past our front door. Boat detailing is a core service here: oxidation removal, hull and deck polishing, marine ceramic, plus gelcoat repair when the finish has gone chalky.

Concert nights at the Kearney Amphitheater, trailhead mornings at Jesse James Park. This town lives outdoors and its vehicles show it. The drive west on 92 goes right past our Smithville shop, so drop-offs are about as easy as they get.

FAQ

Kearney detailing questions, answered straight

We just closed on a new build in Noah’s Landing. Can you get construction dust out of the vents and carpet?
Yes. New-construction dust is fine drywall and concrete powder that settles into vents, carpet backing, door jambs, and seat stitching, and a quick vacuum mostly just stirs it up. Our interior detailing pulls it out with deep extraction and vent-by-vent, jamb-by-jamb cleaning. One shop visit and the new-house film is gone.
Do you actually come to Kearney, or do I have to drive to Smithville?
We come to you. Kearney is 13 miles straight down Highway 92 from our shop (one road, no highway needed), so mobile appointments at your driveway or office are a regular route for us. If you’d rather drop off, the shop in downtown Smithville is about 20 minutes away, and larger jobs like multi-day ceramic coating work are done there.
I commute I-35 to Liberty and downtown every day. What gets highway film off, and is ceramic coating worth it?
Daily I-35 miles build up bug splatter, tar, brake dust, and winter salt brine faster than any around-town driving. Start with a full decontamination wash to strip the bonded film, add paint correction if swirls or etching have set into the clear coat, and yes, ceramic coating earns its keep on commuter vehicles. Bugs and salt release with far less scrubbing, and the coating’s chemical resistance stands up to road brine.
Can you get my truck cleaned up before Jesse James Festival weekend?
Absolutely. Parade, demolition derby, BBQ cook-out, we know exactly what that weekend means in Kearney. Get on the calendar ahead of festival weekend and we’ll have your truck clean and shining inside and out before the parade lines up.
We’re at Mack Porter Park three nights a week during ball season. Can you handle infield dirt, turf pellets, and dog hair?
That’s the classic Kearney interior: infield dirt ground into carpet, turf pellets in the seat rails, snack debris in the third row, and dog hair through all of it. Yes. Deep extraction, brush work, and detail vacuuming reach the layer a shop vac never touches. We clean a lot of family haulers in exactly this condition.
Our new subdivision has zero shade trees and the car bakes in the driveway all day. What protects it?
Full sun is the trade-off of a brand-new neighborhood. Most of those streets were open farmland a few years ago. For paint, ceramic coating adds UV and oxidation resistance so the finish doesn’t fade or chalk. For the cabin, window tint cuts the heat and UV coming through the glass. Together they’re built for exactly the sun a treeless street delivers.
We keep a boat at Smithville Lake but live in Kearney. Do you handle boats?
Yes. Boat detailing and gelcoat repair are core services for us, not a sideline. Smithville Lake is a short run west on 92 from Kearney, and we handle oxidation removal, hull and deck polishing, and marine ceramic coatings for hull and deck. All boat and gelcoat work happens at our Smithville shop. No trailer pickup, but the run down 92 to Bridge Street is a short one.

Kearney, let’s knock the dust off.

Mobile detailing at your driveway or in-shop down 92. Either way, it comes back clean.
