Your Detail Shop Is Right Here on Bridge Street
Branded Detailing isn’t “serving Smithville” from a garage two counties away. The shop sits at 115 S Bridge St in Downtown Smithville, walking distance from Courtyard Park, and the mobile unit reaches every driveway in the 64089 in about 15 minutes or less. Cars, trucks, and the boats that live on Smithville Lake, all detailed by the shop that lives here too.

Downtown Smithville · 115 S Bridge St
Cars have been looked after on this block for over a century
Our shop sits in the Downtown Smithville Historic District, the few blocks around Bridge, Church, Commercial, and Meadow. One of the buildings on this block was the C.C. Kindred Motor Company, back around 1910. Smithville has been bringing its cars downtown ever since. Now that job is ours.
Being downtown changes the day, too. Drop your truck in the morning and you’re on the square, not stranded in an industrial park: coffee, the shops along Main Street, a bench in Courtyard Park. You can walk in, point at your own truck, and talk to the person doing the work. Inside we run the full auto detailing menu: deep interiors, machine work, coatings, film, and tint, just off US-169.
Meanwhile, search “auto detailing Smithville MO” and look at what comes back: directory listings, lead-gen pages, and a studio across the state line whose own website calls it a 35-minute drive. There’s nothing wrong with driving half an hour for good work. There’s just no reason to. A town growing like this one deserves a proper detail shop of its own. It has one, on the square.

Explore Semis & Heavy Equipment →Route DD, better known as Main Street
Main Street runs straight to the lake, and so does our work
Locals know Route DD is just Main Street wearing a highway name. Head east from the square and in about five minutes you’re at the dam and the Jerry Litton Visitor Center, with Smith’s Fork Park along the way. Then Smithville Lake opens up, the Corps of Engineers lake that turned a small Clay County town into a summer destination.
Camp Branch and Crows Creek fill up all season, with Paradise Pointe Marina on the other side. A summer in a slip leaves your hull wearing the lake: a hard waterline stain, scum on the pontoon logs, algae underneath. Trailer boats collect their own off the ramps, like the big concrete one on County Road W. Our boat detailing strips all of it, down to an interior that stops smelling like lake.

Timing matters as much as technique. Fall detail, clean storage, spring splash. That rhythm keeps a pontoon looking new for a decade, and it protects the lake while it protects your own gear.
Fall detail
The best time for a full hull detail is the week the boat comes out of the water, not the week before it goes back in. If the sun has already left the fiberglass chalky and cracked, our gelcoat repair brings the surface back.
Clean storage
A boat that goes into storage dirty holds scum and mineral crust against the aluminum and gelcoat all winter. That isn’t just a looks problem. Smithville Lake has a zebra-mussel history, and the state asks boaters to Clean, Drain, Dry between waters.
Spring splash
A hull that’s actually clean, not just hosed off at the ramp, is part of being a good neighbor on this lake. New from Smithville Marine or twenty years in the family, it should go back in looking like it belongs.
Local conditions
Built for what Smithville actually throws at a vehicle
Every town beats up vehicles in its own way. Ours does it with a lake, gravel, construction, a growing commute, and one glorious carnival weekend a year.
Lake weeks and tow rigs
Trucks pull boats and jet skis all summer. Campers sit under the trees for a week. They come home wearing tree sap, bird droppings, campfire smoke, and dried ramp spray. Our mobile detailing unit comes to the driveway, in Greyhawke or anywhere else.
Gravel dust off Route W
The county roads around Smithville’s edges are gravel, graded and never quite settled. Run Route W out toward Paradise every day and that fine dust finds every vent, door jamb, and seat rail in the cab. A deep interior detail is the reset button.
New-build dust in Diamond Creek and Lakeside Crossing
Diamond Creek and Lakeside Crossing are still going up, so a new vehicle there spends months parked in a construction zone. Drywall film, concrete splatter, and grit are abrasive. Don’t scrub them. We lift them chemically, then bring the gloss back with paint correction.
The US-169 commute, and everything being built along it
US-169 is Smithville’s artery, and the corridor keeps getting busier. The daily run to Kansas City means road brine in winter, rock chips, and hours of sun in a parking lot. That is why commuters ask about window tint, paint protection film, and ceramic coating.
Festival season
On Father’s Day weekend the Lake Festival takes over. The Ferris wheel goes up and the food trucks line Main and Bridge. It’s wonderful, and it’s murder on back seats. Funnel cake, lemonade, lake mud: we see it every June, and we get it out.
Your vehicle spends its shop time in our building on Bridge Street. If the shop day is booked, the mobile unit picks up the slack that same week, same products, your driveway. Either way the accountability stays in town: when a Smithville customer isn’t happy, we hear about it at the grocery store. Greyhawke garages, Diamond Creek driveways, the marina lots: this is our town and our lake. See everywhere we work.

My truck was recently caught in a flash flood out of state. I had standing water about ankle deep in the floor boards and the under seat storage in the back seat. The smell from the river water was awful, and I had to drive it 5 hours home, so the water had time to really sit in the truck. The Branded Detailing team extracted about 9 gallons of water from the truck, and used enzymes to get rid of the odor and bacteria that was in the floor. The truck looks and smells amazing, and I will absolutely be returning for more detailing work on not only my truck but my wife's car as well. 100% recommend Branded Detailing to anyone looking for amazing work by great people!
